Background

The Frederation is a collaboration of the best marketing talent in the UK, working together as a Communications Co-Operative. Some are Designers, some are Publishers, others specialize in Broadcast Communications, Event Management, Video Production or Media Services.

Problem

Fred works with many event organisers who wanted to widen the audience for their events by using Internet video. However, many were put off by the cost of hiring a specialist streaming company, often requiring multiple skilled operators and remote technicians. Event organisers could see the benefit, but they couldn't justify the cost.

Solution

Encoded Media provided a Video Publisher and Video Library Server solution that enabled Fred to significantly reduce the cost of streaming to their clients. Because Video Publisher is so simple to use, it doesn't require the specialist operators that traditional techniques do, which means lower staffing costs.
