Problem

Traders operating on different markets have different news requirements. One trader may need to watch an announcement by the European Central Bank and another may need to watch a speech by the US President. A plasma screen on the wall can only show one channel at a time, so some traders would miss out on important statements.

Solution

Encoded Media provided Elite with a multicast IPTV solution which delivers four news channels directly to traders’ desktops. This enables the trader to choose what they want to watch without disturbing others around them.
