Background

Charles Stanley is one of the UK's largest independently owned, full service stockbrokers. Charles Stanley's Head office is in London and has 24 branch offices across the UK.

Problem

Stockbrokers must receive regular CPD training, to this end Charles Stanley organises monthly training sessions in London. However, with brokers distributed around the country, getting the training to them was quite a challenge. VHS recordings got lost on the way and it was inconvenient for the brokers to find a TV and watch the tapes.

Solution

Encoded Media provided Charles Stanley with a complete content distribution system that encodes the training sessions along with supporting slides and then delivers the content to the branch offices overnight. Brokers can watch the training sessions on their desktop PCs when it is convenient for them. In addition to this, live TV news channels are delivered to the brokers to keep them up to date with world events.
